The health of the world's population is changing rapidly. Chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer and obesity are growing problems around the world. In the Middle and Far East, in Africa, an also in the Antilles, in Suriname and in Indonesia, the number of patients is increasing at a startling rate. Since its foundation, EGM architects has realised projects abroad and focuses on healthcare knowledge and expertise. This makes us unique and allows us to add real value in projects all over the world. We do this both independently and in partnerships with renowned Dutch companies such as Philips, Royal HaskoningDHV, Berenschot, AT Osborne and Ballast Nedam.
We have an partnership with Rotterdam-based firm Gortemaker Algra Feenstra. Together, we founded Dutch Health Architects (DHA), with which we work together in Central Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and Turkey. Recently, we jointly realised the Nemocnica Bory hospital in Slovakia.
EGM has realised projects in more than 50 countries. Recent examples are Prison Village Haren (Belgium), Jyväskylä Hospital (Finland), Erasmus House (Indonesia), Curaçao Medical Center (Curaçao), Maria Middelares Hospital (Belgium).
