Oncology clinic

The balance between a high-tech environment and a human approach

We want to create a positive and hopeful environment which contributes to recovery. An environment where people feel safe and comfortable. By exchanging knowledge we design the healthcare environment of tomorrow.

Due to an aging population, the number of oncology patients is rising. They spend much time for their treatment in hospital. Then, it is easier for them to come to a medical centre where the environment is so pleasant that they feel almost instantly at ease.

Changing need into design result

EGM architects understands that need and works with hospitals to create treatment environments which are as positive and hopeful as possible. A Healing Environment which include color, material and light ensure a safe and pleasant environment.

First results are already visible. Recently we delivered new oncology clinics to university medical centers in Rotterdam and Utrecht, the Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Dordrecht and the Institute Verbeeten in 's-Hertogenbosch. For the specialist hospital in Boxmeer, we designed a completely new oncology treatment centre with the latest therapies.

Tomorrow's healthcare

We are happy to take clients and users to other treatment centres. Not only to show how things have been resolved there, but also to stimulate discussion about new developments in oncology and the related necessary environment. Through us, institutions can share knowledge on new equipment or improved treatments. Thus - with the help of our network - the care for tomorrow is designed today.
