On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the University Medical Center Utrecht, EGM partner Gerard Groot Zwaaftink will give a lecture on April 20, 2005 on building styles of hospitals. From Hôtel Dieu to UMC Utrecht, social and medical insights have shaped our hospitals. By means of a number of historical examples, the development of current events will be addressed, resulting in a reflection on the future.
With six lectures, UMC Utrecht looks back at its history, and at the present and the future of medicine. This lecture will be the first of the series. Gerard Groot Zwaaftink will give the lecture on building styles of hospitals together with Pieter Duif, department of Real Estate & Housing UMC Utrecht.
