EGM visited Hamburg in June 2026 – and what a fantastic trip it was!

The Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, an absolute must-see, exceeded all expectations. During a concert and a guided tour, we experienced this iconic landmark in the new harbour from every angle.
HafenCity
With our guide Tomas Kaiser, we explored the city while he shared fascinating insights into the urban planning of HafenCity. His stories about flood resilience, the ‘10-minute city’ (for over 1.9 million residents!), timber construction, green façades and the mandatory green label for buildings were not only inspiring but also gave us plenty of food for thought.
And of course, it was great to catch up, have a laugh and enjoy the city together over walks, dinner and drinks. In short: a (bus) trip full of new insights, inspiration and energy!
