As part of my Business IT & Management degree at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, I undertook my second-year work placement at EGM architects
During my placement, I carried out research into the onboarding process, from analysing the current working methods to developing improvement measures.
During my placement, I was given the freedom to work independently and could always turn to colleagues for questions or guidance. I found this a very pleasant way of working. I also learnt a great deal about how different departments collaborate and the role that IT processes play within an organisation.
EGM architects is an open organisation with helpful and engaged staff. Colleagues were always willing to answer my questions or explain how the organisation operates. This meant I quickly felt at ease during my placement and I look back on an informative placement period with fond memories.
