From 19 until 23 May 2014 seven HBO students will compete in the second edition of EGM's Revit Battle in Dordrecht. At stake is a six-month contract with the architectural firm. The Revit Battle
During a four-day training, candidates learn the ropes of 3D modeling with the Autodesk Revit program. On the last day all candidates participate in the battle , where they are judged on Revit knowledge, architectural insight and speed. All participants will receive a certificate of participation, an EGM Revit certificate. The winner wins a six-month contract at EGM architecten.
Autodesk'sVice President Amar Hanspal visited the Netherlands last week. Autodesk isworld leader in BIM software. During a meeting with EGM architecten, Hanspal was impressed by EGM 's BIM expertise as an architect and was charmed by the Revit Battle initiative that offers young people the opportunity to acquire Revit knowledge and thus increasing their chances in getting a job.
